How long does it last?

Each individual’s time varies but it is approximately 20+ minutes long. It is one of the longest haunts in Colorado.

Is this for kids?

Town of Terror is not recommend this for kids under 12 years of age. This does not mean that they can’t go in, it is just not recommended. Many smaller children do not make it all the way through and there are no refunds issued.

How scary is it?

It is very scary and are rated the # 1 haunt in Colorado 4 years running.

Where are you located?

8 miles west of Cañon City, Colorado, on the road to the Royal Gorge.

From Colorado Springs and places north take I-25 to Exit 140 to Nevada Avenue head south for about 40 miles to Highway 50 west. Head west on Highway 50 through Cañon City go up 8 Mile Hill once you crest the top of the hill about 1 mile down you will turn left on the road to the Royal Gorge (the turn is at the big yellow River Runners rafting building). Town of Terror is about 1 mile down on the right hand side on the road to the gorge.

From Pueblo and points south take Highway 50 west and follow directions above from Highway 50.

How should we dress?

This is mostly an outdoor haunt with some indoor areas so please dress appropriately.

Can our group go together?

We let groups of 3 to 4 people go through at a time. The reason being is that we want you to be scared and about the largest group to go and still have a great scare factor is 4 people.
